From a high pass along the Möðrudalsleið in northern Iceland, a vast highland landscape unfolds — ash-toned hills rolling into an open plain, dotted with low volcanic ridges and distant peaks dissolving into a cool blue haze. Thin ribbons of green hint at hidden watercourses, while heavy, layered clouds drift low overhead, casting shifting light across the quiet, windswept expanse of the Icelandic Highlands.

The wind never settles here and your thoughts grow lighter with it — drifting, softening, gently losing themselves in the vast.

Sous l’arche sombre de la Porte Saint-Jean, une ruelle pavée s’étire doucement entre des maisons de pierre. La lumière rasante éclaire partiellement les façades, laissant le premier plan dans l’ombre. Un lampadaire suspendu se détache sous la voûte, tandis qu’au loin, un virage discret et un panneau de circulation ferment la perspective.

Un mur de pierre sombre occupe le premier plan, plongeant la scène dans l’ombre. À droite, un étroit escalier de marches irrégulières s’élève, baigné d’une lumière chaude qui découpe chaque degré. Quelques touches de végétation s’accrochent aux interstices. Le contraste entre l’obscurité et cette lumière dorée guide le regard vers le haut - le chemin de ronde en haut des remparts.
