Iowa Rushes, Advances Librarian Criminalization Bill Introduced last week, Iowa's librarian criminalization bill has already made it to the House floor.

“There are no obscene materials in public or public school libraries in the US. This is a moral panic brought forth by the right over books they don’t like & that represent voices, stories, & perspectives outside of the rigid white, straight, able-bodied, cis gender, Christian boundaries.”

A year ago I stayed for a week at the Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I was able to borrow the exact books I needed from this beautiful library.
