Today is my 4 year anniversary of working at Blizzard Entertainment!!! What a dream come true. It’s certainly had its ups and downs, but honestly I’m so incredibly thankful and grateful for this opportunity. I’ve loved working here and I love my job.

growl/grunting noises and says nothing. I don’t know how to help her or what to do. I’ve told her I’ll give her space but she doesn’t want me to leave. So I stay. But when I stay she’s angry I’m there. Angry little girls are so freaking confusing.

I feel like I’m at a total loss. How does one communicate with a 5 year old who refuses/struggles to communicate? Clearly she has something she wants to say. I give her the space and silence to say whatever she needs/wants to…. But in her anger and frustration she just stamps her foot and makes

abandoned me, and now I’ve two younger siblings to take care of. The youngest being 4 years. How messed up.
It’s no wonder my grandma wasn’t a talker… because most likely her mother had, had a hard, hard life herself and probably wasn’t a talker either.

The dad takes the baby and then abandons the rest of the girls here in America and takes the baby back to Poland. The oldest was like 14 and he seems to think they have a better chance here than back in Poland. I can’t even being a 14 yr old in a new country on my own, mom just died, dad just

I am bummed I was hoping to asked her to do a DNA test to see more of the Polish side of the family. I can’t remember if her parents or grandparents were from Poland. I’m thinking it was her grandparents. They came over with like 3?girls and the mom was pregnant. She ends up dying in childbirth.

My grandma passed away tonight. I’m sad for my aunt who was much closer to her than my mother or I were. I’d grown up 2000 miles away from her only seeing her on occasion. She was a quiet woman who didn’t talk much. It was always like pulling teeth to have a phone conversation with her…

There are too many voices coming at me in too many diff dir. I have to step away from social media more as I am overwhelmed by the state of the country & deeply grieved by the chaos, anger, & hatred that is so visceral. I'm hoping to find tangible actionable areas that I & my family can serve at.

Term of the day: Sitting shiva. A Hebrew term. The idea of coming in w/ someone who is in grief. In the Jewish world, when you 'sit shiva', you are being there for the person. You don't talk, if you talk, you are not sitting shiva. You come & you are just there with them. Being with them. No words.
