It's been a wild two weeks! Felt ALL feelings, and happy to say I'm content on my 33rd birthday today!

I guess my first big project of the year is done! It took lots of drawing, carving and printing and it was FUN! 😁
I did three layers, the second and last had two colours. It was a reduction linocut, where I've carved away more between each layer.

Here's a #woodcut print, made with two #blocks and playing with positive and negative space. The block printed in yellow was made by a classmate, teamwork makes the dream work!
As part of the project, we both destroyed the blocks afterwards.

I think it's very cool as it is!

I bawled my eyes out over this precious little fish. I think all our hearts were struck open when we first watched that viral reel of a tiny female anglerfish make the long journey from the depths to spend her final moments in the light. Now her little light can shine forever as a linoprint.
