I guess my first big project of the year is done! It took lots of drawing, carving and printing and it was FUN! 😁
I did three layers, the second and last had two colours. It was a reduction linocut, where I've carved away more between each layer.

Baobab Tree
This one was printed using the reduction technique, carving away the same block in stages for each colour layer. I loved working with the earthy browns against the blue sky — it really brings out the sculptural form of the baobab.

Color 4 went on today. Very selective inking with deeply extended turquoise on most of the print and opaque turquoise on the bottom left.
