Watched three times. He backed up, pulled forward to turn, crossed the road, and drove off.
It was rash and dangerous to resist arrest BUT if his intention had been to run over the CBP/ICE agents, he would have done so, they were right in front of him. He wasn't trying to hit them, he was fleeing.
When I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself that the Great Wall of China was built one brick at a time.
Walk over, pick it up, examine it, dust it off, add some mortar, and combine it with what you already have.
I also remind myself that even five minutes of effort is better than none.

This is a well preserved combat helmet for a Roman cavalryman of the C1st AD. Iron inners for the crown of the helmet and the neck guard (now missing) would have provided additional protection to the wearer. It was found in a gravel pit in Cambridgeshire.

It's going to look even bleaker than your post-fire pic but what they do when they clear-cut is to leave a fringe of trees bordering all the roadways to hide the clear-cuts.
I loved bumper cars when I was a kid.
For years I imagined a "bumper-car" road system with small cars that have their own lanes (similar to bike lanes). People could get around easily (even in rain) without having to worry about being run over by trucks and SUVs.
This tracks well with what Trump voters were telling me on Twitter.
They bragged about dropping out of their freshman year in college. They denigrated those with educations. Many of them clearly struggled with reading comprehension and almost none of them had a middle-school grasp of science.
