I think counting the number of protests is a bad metric because recent protests have taken a decentralized approach. With that said, I think there certainly have been more people participating in protests, boycotts, etc.

Also, the fact that providers at the VA won’t write letters of recommendation for surgeries is going to be fucking devastating. Most states require multiple letters stating that the person requesting surgery needs surgery. This will be an insurmountable barrier for many transgender veterans.
