The co-opting of language like “good trouble” without interrogating what that actually means is irresponsible. The all white starter pack of educators “getting in good trouble” had good intentions, I’m sure… but the impact is exclusion and alienation. Good trouble would have meant doing the WORK 1/

I facilitated learning for instructors in the local International Languages Program and received positive feedback; “You speak exactly the right amount at exactly the right pace.”

😊 I’m grateful that participants feel respected and cared for when I lead professional learning.
