Sunny morning at Flamb topped off with my first Clouded Yellow in ages (east side of Old Fall Hedge), also Redstart in the plantation. Good numbers of passage phylloscs (mainly Willows) in wider area and a lesser white at Thornwick teasing the autumn in!

A very enjoyable afternoon catching up with the first Ross's Gull in Durham in 30 years. Great find from Whitburn by M. Harper and nicely relocated by P. Chapman. Sadly I didn't capture just how pink it was in the field! #NEBirding #UKBirding #RareBirds
