100 Rejections

I didn't quite make #100rejections, but I did receive 91 rejections in the past 12 months.

As the first month of 2026 draws to a close, here's where I stand:

- 12 applications for jobs/funding/career development opportunities

- 4 rejections

- 2 potential ghostings (deadline 10 days ago, no word... will prob count as rejections as of next week)

On track for the #100rejections project!

100 rejections.
A hundred “not yet.” A hundred “keep going.”

Writer friends - do you have submissions and rejection goals for the year? Pieces published? Do you have spreadsheets for tracking? I like to break things down to weekly goals for submissions to be accountable. So far - on track for submissions and rejections. #100rejections #WritingCommunity

After four months of drought, one poem was accepted by Zone 3 and another three poems were accepted by @antiheroinchic.bsky.social. I am so grateful. And not only that, but I have achieved 90 of my #100rejections for the year. #keepontruckin, #submit, #thankful

I have practically doubled my submissions and rejections. I've written several new pieces and have several more on the go. I haven't doubled my acceptances yet but I'm working on it
