Thinking about #10YearsTicket and how director
Fon Kanittha Kwunyoo reminds me of #F4Thailand director Patha Thongpan and #NotMeSeries director Nuchy Anucha Boonyawatana. The level of filmmaking they are bringing to their dramas is light years ahead of the usual GMMTV schlock.
We're only 2 eps into #10YearsTicket but I want to shoutout writer/director Fon Kanittha Kwunyoo. In 2015, her film Karma, about a novice monk breaking rules like drinking and celibacy, was Thailand’s submission to the Oscars. In other words, she's a legit filmmaker. It shows.
The #10YearsTicket trailer reminded me of why I got into Bollywood and then into Thai dramas because they both do feelings dialed up to eleventy million and I freakin' love that.
