Sorcerer description leans into their odd nature, knowing magic by intuition, luck or patronage. Because #13thAge2e PCs are explicitly special, this works much better than in vanilla D&D where there could be hundreds of such. And don't get me started on Warlocks. This game puts PCs at its core

There are 3 types of ranger talents, but because there's a passive effect from.having at least 1 of each, rangers will prob diversify. #13thAge2e generally seems to be averse to specialising. There are inevitably animal companions. I hate animal companions 😋

Read #13thAge2e cleric last night. It's really cool but pretty much requires you follow multiple gods/gods with different aspects, coz you must have 3 domains (or 2 domains and 2 daily randoms). With domain effects, invocations (effect that lasts for 1 battle) and spells = lots of moving parts

We also get the first explicit Mr Tweet call out box. He notes using min/max dmg can fit a particular PC concept and I quite like that, tho I'd prefer 25%/75%
There are 10 specific dmg types. Pure 3e/4e. Also the same weapon damage 1 die per level as 1e. #13thAge2e is an update not rewrite

Can't believe it's been 9 days since #13thAge2e. But that's Xmas and lurgy for ya.
So, classes. Reckon I may skim some of this because, much like 4e, there are a lot of feats and powers.

I really like these little promotional videos for #13thAge.
One of the few #DnD variants that I am (still/once again) interested in.
Perhaps because the game doesn't obsessively dwell on the past like this whole #OSR nonsense?!
