#AndrewScheer isn’t just a re-elected #MemberOfParliament #MP for #Regina—Qu'Appelle and #LeaderOfTheOpposition.
#Scheer met with the #FluTrucksKlan #FreedomTruckers, many convicted for illegal acts. He needs one of #144Letters

A graphic of a sample letter, titled “The Needed 144 Letters”: Dear [MP Name], As a Canadian [citizen/resident], I am deeply concerned by the increasing presence and tolerance of radical and extremist elements in Canadian political discourse-including associations with movements and individuals aligned with hate, white supremacy, and conspiracy theories. As one of 144 Conservative MPs, you bear a responsibility not just to your party, but to the public. I am writing to ask for clarity: • Do you denounce these extremist groups and their ideologies? • What steps are you taking to ensure that the Conservative Party does not enable, welcome, or rely on their support? Accountability is essential to our democracy. Too many in your party are giving their tacit approval, as those who are silent are taken to agree. I am asking you to respond publicly and clearly. Sincerely, [Your Full Name] [City, Province]
Realistically, I think we start by trying to get everyone to establish the lines. I figure start with the extremists—since we’re more likely to all agree (outwardly) about that. After, we can refine and push further.
I am trying to start a letter-writing campaign: #144letters. Here’s my sample:

That’s why I started #144letters — because Parliament should not be a safe haven for this kind of hate. It’s time we said so, out loud.
My post called out masked individuals justifying violence — and your response was a racist screed targeting an entire community. That doesn’t just miss the point. It proves it. This is why #144letters matters.
“Shiloh Hendricks did nothing wrong”😑
Damn fucking straight you fuckers need to hide your identities.
This kind of rhetoric has no place in Canada. It is exactly why everyone was voting #Liberal & @mark-carney.bsky.social: to keep people like you out of Parliament.
THIS is why we need #144letters

We’re watching. We’re asking.

Who do you represent?
What do you really stand for?
#CdnPoli
There are 144 Conservative MPs. You can write to yours—or to all of them.
Write publicly, write privately. Ask for clarity. Ask for courage.
Democracy is stronger when it’s accountable.

If they claim they didn’t know, ask:
Why not?
If they say they don’t support those views, ask:
Why didn’t you speak out?
Silence enables extremism.
#144Letters is your chance to demand an answer—respectfully, firmly, and directly.
#CdnPoli
The Conservative Party has cozied up to radical elements—from convoy leaders with white supremacist ties to #Diagolon, to repeated tolerance of Nazi-sympathizing imagery and rhetoric.
This is not about partisanship. It’s about democratic responsibility.
#144Letters #CdnPoli
Now that we’ve averted the immediate threat, we need to refocus on the ones we paused for survival. That starts with accountability.
It’s time for #144Letters. Every Conservative MP in Canada should be asked:
Why did you appeal to radicals? Why didn’t you denounce them?
