The #2024firearmresearchconf was filled with groundbreaking ideas that will help inform Brady’s work to change the culture of firearms in America and promote secure storage. And Brady’s JJ Janflone presented on how Hollywood can play a role in efforts to reduce gun violence.
What a great 3 days at the #2024FirearmResearchConf:

Lifting up Kim's incredible accomplishment in winning this award for her work at the #2024FirearmResearchConf this year. Congrats, Kim - we are so lucky to work with you here at @njgvrc.bsky.social!
Just returned from #2024firearmresearchconf. It’s elevating to see so many bright researchers producing amazing work. But the most profound moment was when my friend @jonathanmetzl.bsky.social reminded us that deep down gun harm reduction is political. If we discount that, we do so at our own peril.
