On my way home I had a bad fall and got a scraped up elbow for it. While I appear to be fine, I'm taking a really slow approach to recovery, and will unfortunately be dropping out of #31daysofwinterbiking I got real far and pushed myself. Good luck to everyone still on the challenge. 😀

#31daysofwinterbiking Day 24 I went to a movie and and I'm sitting in the theatre waiting for it to start. Currently it is -15 with wind making it feel like -25 and it was in my face almost the whole time.

#31daysofwinterbiking Day 23 and it's a nice -12° out but a strong wind is making it seem much colder. -22°. It is pretty nice but it's supposed to top out around -3. I hate that part. But Happy Friday to all who celebrate!

#31daysofwinterbiking Day 22 it was -26 before windchill, whibrought it down to -37 when I started out. The new seat needs more adjustment still, but it holds temperature better. The sheepskin insoles struggle when the steel cap in my shoes gets cold: maybe the caps can't handle wind?

Back to it #31daysofwinterbiking. I usually bike every day anyway, but had a few skip days. Honestly not so much for the weather but just some mental health days after too many close calls with vehicles lately.

Me and my bike, Gayle, on a testing ride for my new merino wool balaclava/gaiter/whatever thingie. It works!
#31daysofwinterbiking Day 19 I called off work because the windchill brought the temperature down to -46°C this morning. I got a merino wool balaclava/gaiter/headband so I don't miss tomorrow too. I had to test the new gear in the extreme cold and found a couple of little niggles with how I wore it.
