Bit of a meh day tbf
Highlights were:
80s/90s Kitchen disco whilst making tea
Movie night with 2nd Born (perks of being a wallflower)
Giggly phone call from 1st born (who'd had mega ADHD meltdown and cry earlier so was happy she was enjoying herself with friends)

After a couple of weeks of doom and gloom, it was nice to win one!

Feral child 3 (the boy) outside all day actually came in at 6pm to tell me he was OK before having the last hr of light with his friends. He finally listened!

Himself and i have vegged out on the sofa, catching up on telly and tea

V proud of Adult me finally getting a light for my pantry. Hopefully now I can see the food in there instead of forgetting about it because out of sight, out of mind.
Now need to find a fix for the fridge blindness...

Survived day 1 of school holidays, flying solo. Nobody wass injured, everyone was fed. Shit was not lost, nobody cried.
Calling that a win.

Stayed in my pj's ALL DAY
Went to bed at 10, got up at 3, vegged on the sofa, everyone fed themselves- there are advantages to having feral kids- School holidays and no work on Sunday meant absolute freedom to do nowt.
Bliss.

Himself is not perfect-nobody is- but yesterday he handled my switch from meltdown to stims, didnt make me feel bad about any of it

I know the NHS gets stick but have to shout out today my GP and pharmacy because overall the service they provide is great. Put in rpt prescription request on Friday afternoon, it was waiting for me at the pharmacy by dinnertime today. Cant complain at that.

Rare Sunday off, spent well.
Spent all day with Himself, brew out, bimble around the shops (didnt buy anything and even walked past The Range 😳) nice walk with the pooch, TV catch up and Picky Tea

Post night shift chill out with Himself. Stayed in my pj's, ate chips and donuts (not at the same time, obs) laughed at the telly (Last One Laughing is so good, watch it!)
Can highly recommend Laughing at silly stuff with someone you love 10/10

#365positivedays day 78 (fri) Busy shift with some frustrating moments but reminded that the people make the job 100 times better. Even when there are challenges, humour, friendship, mutual respect gets you through.
