Since I kinda have to rebuild my #3sMakoto tech archive to some degree (I never really like... organized this) have some research I did when trying to figure out how to properly parry Electric Blast -> Magnetic Storm from certain positions

Ken Parried 5MP-HP Target Combo (TC) Defensive Option Select (OS). Still a risk you're taking on wakeup but allows you to consistently punish even when canceled into Shoryuken.

If Ken does not cancel the TC into an attack, he is totally unable to defend.
