A tatty old paperback book... The Coming of the Terrans by Leigh Brackett, Ace Books, Inc, NYC 1967. The cover is a two-tone orange and red showing an over-muscled man and scantily-clad woman amongst various alien thingys.
A charity shop find. American pulp science fiction at its best (worst?). To some, just rubbish. To me, a work of art. Tempted to start reading it but I've got to put it behind the other 3000 books I've yet to read...
