California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a notice of appeal to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Wednesday in support of the country’s first law aiming to protect kids online — the Age Appropriate Design Code Act — which unanimously passed the legislature and was signed into law in September 2022.
