"Bone Development in Transgender Adolescents Treated With GnRH Analoques and Subsequent Gender-Affirming Hormones" • Bone mineral density scores decreased on GRa, but Increased on GAHT. Trans boys had scores that caught up to cisgender baseline, trans girts had scores that increased, but not quite to cisgender baseline. For trans girls in this study, mean bone density scores were below population mean even before GnRHa, trans boys matched population baseline. Navabi et al. (2021). "Pubertal Suppression. Bone Mass, and Body Composition in Youth With Gender Dysphoria" • Trans youth on GRado have lower bone density scores than cis peers, and over half trans sample had vitamin D deficiency, but no increased fracture risk”
