What an excellent plenary talk from Dr @MaluTansey at #AAIC21 just now - what a role model she is! My fav quotes from her during this presentation: "The brain is not immune privileged; it's immune specialized." & "Science is a team sport!". 👏🏻
Interesting findings presented at @emmaluckettneu1's poster at #AAIC21: in cognitively unimpaired individuals APOEε4 does not change amyloid at baseline but enhances amyloid deposition, which contrasts w/ data presented by @Colin__Groot today (which gave a great talk btw).
Just saw the poster from @GregWheildon @katielunnon et al "Targeted bisulfite sequencing analysis of candidate genes associated with Alzheimer’s disease" looking at #DNAmethylation changes in @brains4dementia #Alzheimers #brain - great to see this work progress nicely. #AAIC21

Excellent talk from @MKenigsbuch from @IdoAmitLab & Schwartz lab at #AAIC21 just now on disease-associated oligodendrocytes (DOLs). Don't seem to be AD-specific but common to other #brain disorders. Looking forward to read the paper!
