And why doesn’t her best friend Josh want to come to her birthday party at the trampoline park anymore? Olive knows something is wrong, but she is determined to have fun at her party. If she shows kindness, maybe others will too. Every little bit counts!
Q: What is your favorite thing about Olive? A: She’s curious, and confident, and spunky. She’s how I wish I were as a child. Q: What do you hope readers learn or take away from your book? A: In a world that seems pretty topsy turvy these days, I really hope that readers will treat everyone with kindness and consideration. Q: What books inspired you while writing this? A: I read quite a lot and I try to read a variety of different types of books, so I like to think that everything I’ve ever read has inspired and informed my writing of Every Little Bit Olive Tran. But I did love reading the Ivy and Bean series by Annie Barrows to my girls when they were young.
