Two books laying down on a black desk.

The book on the right has a bright pink cover, titled “Involuntary Consent: The Illusion of Choice in Japan’s Adult Video Industry” by Akiko Takeyama.

The book on the left has a black cover with multicolored yokai on it, titled “The Book of Yokai,” expanded second edition by Michael Dylan Foster.

The books I ordered at #AAS2025 are finally here!

The Book of Yokai is absolutely beautiful. Had to snag a copy after seeing it in person.

And JAS had a review of Involuntary Consent, and it was so good I had to buy the book 😂
