Last year, Dr. Benjamin attended ABRCMS alone. This year, he returned accompanied by six undergraduate researchers. What a difference a year has made! This experience has only deepened our commitment to fostering the next generation of scientists. #ABRCMS #RepresentationMatters #HEARTGeNLab

Find me and talk to me!

I’ll be the dashing gentleman hanging around the UMich PIBS booth, or prowling the poster aisles admiring the cool research 🧪

If you’re going to be at #ABRCMS, there are a few opportunities to hear from my lab. Nicole is currently applying to graduate school and Lesley is applying to medical school, and both have been EXCELLENT additions to my lab. Come hear about their work! 👇🏾

I'll be on campus most of the day so Y joined me for #SaturdayWalkDay before work. Walked our usual weekday route and no need for music accompaniment. Also got to break in my new sneeks. Today's inspiration is #ABRCMS #FutureOfSTEM @asm.org #ASMCUE #OldFartsWalking

Very happy to hear from Dr Avery August @averyxaugust.bsky.social and colleagues that #ABRCMS is still being planned for this year despite obvious concerns.
As for the last couple of years, The Histochemical Society @histochemicalsoc.bsky.social will be part of this great event!

Last week at #ABRCMS was amazing. I first attended when I was an undergrad. Seeing some longtime mentors and new students was very rejuvenating.

Strong #BME presence there as well!

Last week #BlackInMicro flew to Pittsburgh, where we handed out swag, met lots of new faces, and had a blast. We're celebrating our first trip to #ABRCMS and are already thinking about ways to connect with our new members!

Can finally confirm: #ABRCMS in person definitely beats the online early-pandemic versions. I didn't have to travel and I'm still wiped out by so many hours of posters... but there was so much exciting science and so many talented undergrad and postbac researchers! Highly recommended. #ABRCMS2024

Incredibly stressed I attended both #SACNAS and #ABRCMS expecting a worried, tense atmosphere, particularly at ABRCMS. Instead there was joy and optimism from diverse young scientists excited to share their science. So therapeutic and braced me to push on and work for the bright future they deserve.
