Screenshot of an email newsletter from Tendency Research which reads: "A significant issue that often concerns Americans is housing, particularly its affordability. The United States is a big place, and housing costs vary greatly from state to state and region to region. According to Redfin, the median home price in the U.S. during August this year was $439,834. Washington, DC, had the highest median-priced home ($1,360,000), while West Virginia had the lowest at $253,100."
The median home price was ~$403K before the Mayor took office. Now DC is more unaffordable (~$1.4M) to buy a home in than EVERY state in the country. And with the city's rampant violence against the unhoused, it is also dangerously unaffordable to be homeless here.

If your Mayor was helping her landlord donors to make you homeless, would YOU trust their invitation to "shelter"!?
