Ace comic 1 alt text:
A comic about asexuality. The first image shows a scratchboard-like drawing of a wolf with a green upright mane snarling at something to the left out of frame, and surrounding the wolf is the lyrics to "Drown" by Three Days Grace.
Comic Text: As a kid, I was extremely skeptical about romance. I thought it was always, always about sex. I responded to attempts at affection accordingly.
The second image shows the eye of the wolf in the first image, looking somewhat tired. Around it, the lyrics to Neko Case's "Middle Cyclone" are hand written.
Comic text: However, it was obvious that the only reliable companionship one could expect from the world was romance.
The third and last image on the page shows a teal wolf lying on her back, with a tear trailing down from her eye. Her expression is deeply pained, with a slight snarl.
Comic text: I would listen to “Like Real People Do” at night, wondering what it was like to -want- romance. Wondering what it was like to be human.

Ace comic 2 alt text:
Second page of the comic about asexuality. The top image shows the wolf from the prior page looking up at a creature with a carnivorous elk skull and a black cloak, with lyrics from Paradise Fears' "Colour": Since I met you, all these questions keep me guessing here. Like what was life before, and what happens when you disappear?
Comic text: Then, something happened I didn’t expect. I met someone, quite by accident. We got along like old friends. I wanted to be more.
The next image is a close-up of the wolf, looking sheepish. There's a speech bubble with an ace flag in it, and the word "Goodbye" in the top left corner.
Comic text: I was convinced I’d lose him once I told him what I am. I had no reason to expect a miracle. I fully expected him to leave.
The final image on the page is essentially the same pose as the prior image, but the wolf's expression is alert; shocked.
Comic text: And yet...

Comic 3 alt text:
The only image on this page is a drawing of an anthro wolf, clearly the one from the rest of the comic, and a deep red bison/goat/wolf hybrid anthro. They're sitting back to back with tails entwined, and lyrics from Les Friction's "What You Need" written above them in yellow: "Finding you has changed everything"
Comic text, final: I was, against everything I’d ever reasoned or been told, loved for who I am, without compromise.
I continue to be loved for who I am, unconditionally. I’ll never tell a fellow ace person that “they just need the right person”, because that’s not the point. You are worthy of love, however you want it.
You are not broken.
Even if it’s hard to believe it some days. Happy Ace Week ❤️

Been working on this all week! This is a very abbreviated personal account of my experience as an asexual person. To my fellow aces: you don't have to be alone, if you don't want to. You are worthy of love. #aceweek2025 #acecomic

First panel: Okay let's talk about asexuality!
Second panel: You may have heard of it but don't know ehat it means... Or perhaps you may have thought of it or heard someone else refer to it kind of like this...
Third panel: "So you can't get laid?" "Everyone is like that!" "You mean celibate?" "That's just gay but closeted." "No one cares if you don't get $#!*" "that's just straight." "See a doctor."
Fourth panel: Let's toss all that stigma in the trash and learn what it really means shall we?

1st panel: Asexuality is defined as "having little to no sexual attraction," so in order to understand what that means, lets talk about what sexual attraction really is!
2nd panel: If a lesbian and a straight man see a woman they think is attractive, they may refer to her as "sexy," feel aroused, or be willing to have intercourse with her. (THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY WILL)
3rd panel: Whereas is a gay man and a straight woman see her, they may think she's pretty, but otherwise not have the same sexual thoughts or urges about her. They are not sexually attracted to her.
4th panel: In other words, put it this way; If "hetero" means "different" and "homo" means "same," aces have no attraction in either direction, so they cant be straight or gay!
