‘Watershed Moment’: Semaglutide Shown to Be Effective in MASH | MDedge Semaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, appears to safely and effectively treat metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH)

This phase 3 trial presented at #ACG2024 found semaglutide effective for treating #MASH. The results were a “highlight of the meeting" and a "watershed moment in the MASH field."
