Watching the recording of "Espoused and Enacted Values: Library Action to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" from #ACRL2025 and it is depressing if not surprising. They reviewed ACRL DEI survey data from 2020 and 2023 and there were basically decreases of DEI activities across the board...
I had a great time at #ACRL2025 - thanks to everyone who attended my Roundtable and Panel session! Note: ICYMI and you registered for the conference, the Legacy Toxicity panel session was livestreamed, and the recording is available on the ACRL Attendee Hub.
⚪🔴⚫ Thank you, ACRL 2025!

Over the weekend, librarian Nico Casas presented a poster at the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) 2025. Pictured with him is co-presenter, Michael Gutierrez, a librarian from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Congratulations to you both! #ACRL2025
Still marveling at what an amazing experience #ACRL2025 was! Academic librarians in Minneapolis and virtually had the chance delve into complex topics and engage in critical conversations. Reply to let us know what was your favorite part about the conference!

What do librarians do when we’re not in the library? We learn, advocate, and imagine better futures for you. Haley, our Research & Student Engagement Librarian, spent the week at #ACRL2025 with thousands of academic librarians. #LibSky
I’m leaving the #ACRL2025 tired but grateful for the longtime friends I got to hug, the new friends I made (and tbh, also hugged!), and the powerful professionals I truly believe will help us get through whatever-the-heck timeline we’re dealing with right now.
this is the best thing to come out of #acrl2025 hands down

The greatness of going to conferences like #acrl2025 is the community we develop from such engagements, and the potential power from our shared experiences to change our communities at home.
I mean, my dad was a union member and protested during in May 68 so I would be a terrible daughter if I did not fight the good fight. #acrl2025
