Hello (REDACTED) I completely understand the concerns that this consultation has generated. I think it’s unacceptable that so many people have been left to worry about whether the numbers will be restricted in their areas, or if they’ll be removed from waiting lists following any change. Although the Minister has confirmed that the Right to Choose is not being removed, I am seeking further information on behalf of all my constituents, including you. I have contacted the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board to ask these questions too. Now that the consultation period is complete, NHS England will review the responses received and consider the perspectives of those involved before deciding its next actions. I will be following this very closely. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. I will contact you again when I have further information on this. England could be about to lose the NHS "Right to Choose", which is just about the only way to secure an ADHD assessment/meds as an adult (without 5+ year waiting lists).
