Brilliant talk from 1st Year Ph.D. student Dumindu Dassanayaka at #AES24 today.
Dumindu spoke about using triboelectric laminates for green (electro-)chemical reactions.
He's done amazingly well to get intriguing results only 9 months into his degree!

During the #AES24 banquet earlier this week there was a charity auction. One of the items was a satellite tag that produced lots of silly trash talking about "what species are you going to put it on? " Nobody came up with " dead whale " as a viable option. 🤣
