I have not found many resources & speaker in #afrikaans
I like to get accostumed to languages by reading them or trying to read them regularily
For afrikaans I make the assumption I can recyle a huge part of my reading nederlands. (I think I can read B2 but with some help & it's domain dependent)

Found some signage in Melbourne CBD greeting me in one of my local South Africanlanguages, from the other side of the Indian Ocean. ‘Goeiedag’ means ‘good day’. In Afrikaans. Unfortunately, no ‘Sawubona’ (isiZulu) or ‘Molo’ (isiXhosa), but hey, beggars can’t be choosers.
