All of #AHRQ (not just the research funding that isn’t being spent) is $345 million. This would fund it for more than 571 years.
Good thing #AHRQ doesn’t fund anything important, right?

Many of the leading healthcare safety and quality researchers in the world are based in the US... which is why it pains me to see so many cancelled funding opportunities from the HHS Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality ( #AHRQ).

I don’t think people understand that #AHRQ #HHS agency that funds hands on research to make healthcare cheaper and safer - like enhancing the process to sterilize surgical instruments or fighting hospital acquired infections - is getting gutted.
Spent much of today finding grant opportunities that are a perfect match for my research but no longer exist (ie #AHRQ grants), then tried to make fresh pasta with powdered sugar. Hashtag winning.
