Thursday night I got dinner w Will Gibbons at Tuscany on Taylor where we split wagyu meatballs with tomato garlic confit and parmesan, & I ordered raviolacci toscani filled with short rib, parmesan, fontina, and topped with mushroom cream sauce.

Saturday of #ams24 was a full day--panels and papers and food and laughter and inspiration. It ended with the most inspiring reception in honor of Georgie Cowart at CWRU that had me misty-eyed from all the gorgeous tributes to her mentorship, collegiality, community, and care.

Hey #ams24 did you know the hotel is actually owned by a private equity firm and not an actual hotel chain? The firm does not listen to the hotel workers but will take bad google reviews into account fwiw
#ams24 was definitely my favorite AMS of those I’ve attended. So grateful for incredible friends and colleagues who make me feel like I belong in music studies.
