really appreciate seeing UBC's XΜ±wi7xΜ±wa Library working with UW and other projects!! I also love the structure of Indigenous "case scholars" and I think there's alot that could be learned from that method, as case studies themselves are so focused on an expert diagnosing someone else #asist24

Couple of important caveats here: Only records appraised by archival laborers to hold enduring value & this process guided by often subjective, institutionally mandated, or

This research will be so useful to me--one of the harder things to do is to "prove" the transmission of identities/terminology through cultural heritage institutions #asist24

#asist24: in Terms for Cultural Informatics and hearing from Hannah Turner and Shirin Gholam-Alamdari. This paper reviews the concepts often referred to as Digital Repatriation, Digital Restitution, or Digital Return. Using a scoping review and thematic analysis, they looked at 3000(!) papers

just had to explain this to a friend, so if there are any #asist24 folks here from outside of Canada: you do not have to pay for COVID tests here. tests are free & are for the most part of available at any pharmacy. it's insane that the US charges for them.

This will be my first time in Alberta, and it will mark the fifth province I've visited (after QC, ON, NS, and BC)
Excited to visit Calgary for the first time for #ASIST24, though I wish the Stampede was happening at the same time π€ as I get older, the more I am enamored by my Arizona roots.
