How does your institution approach feeding decisions at end of life?

IMO, it is very difficult to keep personal beliefs & biases out of nutrition support decisions for end of life patients. I see people, myself included, who have very strong opinions in these scenarios. But the pt’s autonomy should be what is ultimately respected.

Empathy is so important to patient care. I think patients expressing their feelings through art can be a great way to better understand what they are going through.
