Janney 5K & Fun Run The Janney 5K & Fun Run is on Saturday November 15, 2025. It includes the following events: Janney Elementary 5k and Janney Elementary Fun Run.

It’s almost here!

Janney Elementary School’s annual 5K & Fun Run is this Saturday, November 15.

The race starts at the school and winds through neighborhood streets. It’s been a fundraiser for programs at Janney for 15 years.

Work is underway at the Ladybird development project (is it still called that?) at 48th and Yuma Streets in AU Park. The former SuperFresh location plans to build over 200 new homes and also a small grocery store.
