#aaronbrown was different from any other journalist, any other person, I've known. He had an extraordinary literary sensibility, but he understood video and pictures. No-degree intellectural. Casino evictee for counting cards at blackjack. Obsessive golfer. Farewell, dear friend.

Sad to hear that #AaronBrown passed away. He was a big reason why I watched CNN in the early 2000s. Articulate, measured, and not prone to taking politicians statements at face value, he was from a different age.
