46 years ago today (2/27/80) #GeorgeTobias passed away at the age of 78 due to bladder cancer. He played #AbnerKravitz, the eternally annoyed-with-his-wife neighbor of Samantha and Darrin, in #Bewitched S1-7. He also reprised the role on the ‘Tabitha’ TV series.

He had a long career in Hollywood including an uncredited role in the Joan Crawford movie "Mildred Pierce" and several appearances on ‘The Waltons.’
