Forte supports action plan for diamond open access - Forte (English) The results of publicly funded research should be accessible to all.  This week is international Open Access Week, and Forte illuminates issues related to publishing with open access and access to research data. The Diamond Action Plan is one of several pieces of the puzzle in the development towards open access for scientific articles. Now Forte, as the first Swedish research council, also signs the action plan.

An introduction of the Horizon Europe project ‘Developing Institutional Open Access Publishing Models to Advance Scholarly Communication’ (DIAMAS, 2022–2025) was also done. 

At the #Act4DiamondOA Conference, the 146 institutions endorsing the ‘Action Plan for Diamond Open Access' discussed how to operationalise the actions set out in the document.
