Getting my original birth certificate meant everything to me but it also makes me angry that adoptees have to be grateful for something so simple. All states need to open their records and this needs to stop happening to begin with.

Before adoption mothers relinquishing are made into some type of Princess and told they are doing the most selfless thing for their child. After adoption they immediately become the evil witch that gave her child up. Most adoptions don’t happen because the child is unwanted.
