Sketch of Ai Apaec, the former Moche god. It might not be clear in the image, but Ai Apaec is actually a spider-like creature that embedded himself on the body of a headless god.
Metal poles pierce his skin, decorated with severed heads. Four large spider legs can also be seen protruding from his body.

Lucifuge Rofocale (the red spiny demon on the right) visits the court of the Decapitator (seated).
Surrounding them are headless souls kneeling in worship of Ai Apaec, with one decorated by bones sticking out its skin, and a large club-like arm.

The Moche deity Ai Apaec, depicted as a fierce warrior with an angry face, octopus tentacles for hair, and a snake belt, holds a tumi blade in one hand while grasping a crab’s claw with his other.

The creature fighting Ai Apaec is a crab demon, depicted with crab claws, protruding crab legs from the side (in addition to standing on two humanoid legs), and an angry expression on its carapace.

Inspired by Moche pottery depicting such a fight on display at the Museo Larco, located in Lima, Peru.
