12/29/2024 mid-day #AlaskaRange pano, #Denali uber alles through the windshield climbing northbound for BRW. It shall never again be known as "Mt. McKinley" regardless of official grim-buffoonery. As with all of my photography posted here, it's best seen on a proper monitor at my website.

In the shadow of #Denali– the #MuldrowGlacier wends and grinds its inexorable path upon the northern face of the #AlaskaRange, as seen last week through a cockpit side-window from 34,000 feet. The season of light quickens upon the northern land.

View from the summit ridge From the topo map, it's not clear which of Sable Mountain's two peaks is the higher. Inevitably, it turned out to the one farther away. That meant that we ended the climb with a delightful walk alon...

Sometimes we could see a park bus near the river or a #flightseeing plane on the other side of the valley, but we effectively had this big space all to ourselves.
