I was in Amsterdam in cool April for #AlgoSoc. I'll be in Heilbronn (no, me neither)

I wasn't so sure whether I should actually come and participate, at first as I would miss the #algosoc conference in Amsterdam, and more recently the attacks on academic freedom at US universities.

Initial insights from #AlgoSoc in the Netherlands: What do people actually *value* in AI ? --> Older people value oversight, privacy, and transparency, younger audiences value diversity more - generally human oversight and respect for privacy and transparency are - however - central for all!
