Alison Bechdel cartoon based at an American Multiplex Cinema where one of three pals; short boyish pixie cut hair, has a 'transphobia' attack going to the washroom with pal who is transgender. remonstrated with by her pal she goes in and is promptly jumped on by aged ex Barbie type suggesting she "in the wrong bathroom" behind her the trans pal is by now washing her hands in the basin and intercedes with "of course she's not! Take a closer look hon(ey) Americanism. Pixie cut pal thanks trans pal Jillian for stepping in adding "I'd do the same for you, y'know". Jillian, drying her hands with paper towels responds:
"Thanks, but I actually don't have much of a problem in the ladies 'rooms'. At least, not since my "Nobody I'm a transsexual" T shirt wore out".
There's a dripping tap behind Jillian above it Ms Bechdel signature initials appear with 95 date marker.
It is a classic sketch from that period, busy beautiful graphics and capturing all the ironies that faintly, by comparison to 2025 that popped up from time.
The elegance seems gone today in favour of Rohm like Sturmabteilung SA thuggery.
"We understand that there are strong views here, but I think we all want to get to the same end, and the end is to make life easier for trans people to live in the identity that they feel so strongly committed to. That's the end that I want to see too."

#AlisonBechdel tackled this subject elegantly in 1995. Elegance is a stranger to the #LGBAlliance #SexMatters the #GCRump & et al.
#KishwerFalkner quoted by #HolyroodDaily (transphobic rag) from Feb 14th 2022 - lying through her vacuous smile?
