Fascinating to visit Sion Hill Hall in Yorkshire last week while I was with Alison Weir’s tour as a guest historian. The house completed in 1913 in the Neo-Georgian style & was inspired by Edward Lutyens’ work. A fascinating example of a 20thC country house done well. #alisonweirtours #sionhillhall

A pleasure to spend the past few days as a guest historian on #AlisonWeirTours tour of Northumbria. As always, the itinerary is fabulous with guided tours, exclusive visits & many guest historians (I spoke about Dissolution of the Monasteries &Jane Seymour). I hope the guests have a wonderful trip!
