So just today 1 October 2025 - Abi our youngest team leader organised the breakfast service this morning before rushing off to college. Abi reports: "We served 68 breakfasts on a lovely calm morning - thank you everybody for your hard work!" #Amazingvolunteers
Working flat out this morning serving 104 freshly cooked breakfasts along with 35 takeway packs for those not ready to eat in. We also distributed 69 fruit bags to be enjoyed by our guests over the weekend. Yet again #communitymatters #amazingvolunteers

And the stats are in for another month - In March we cooked 2112 breakfasts. We welcomed 1585 guests who joined us for brekkie in our community cafe, and we provided 527 takeaways for family groups. Volunteers gave 744 hours in the service of those in need in our community #Amazingvolunteers

For those who like stats, we've been finding out more. In a poll completed by 136 of our guests last week 45.1% said 'choosing' what they had for breakfast was top of the list. 40.7% said the cooked meal and 11.5% said it was being able to chat to the volunteers. #Communitychoice #Amazingvolunteers
