Shows an image of Wittenou's death scene from the third of the Wittenou films. He rests on a downed tree on the edge of a cliff, the United States Cavalry viewed on the plain below. Wittenou, as he dies, is held by the frontiersman, Old Shatterhand. May's story was that he was Old Shatterhand, and the novelizations were based on his experiences.
