1) Yes, Trump's tariffs are causing pain to #research in the #US. However, having actually done research in the US for almost 5 years, I can say it's #notrealistic to think that #Americanscientists have any incentive to come to Europe: salaries (at all levels) are, at least, half of those in the US.

Protect yourselves. Stay away. The US under Trump / Musk is hostile to everything you all are & do.

#ScientificConferences, move your conferences to FR, DE, the UK, or Canada.
