Just departed on #Amtrak 1333 / #AmtrakBorealis CHI-MSP! Really excited for #SRCCON​—​sorely needed in a year as heavy as this one.

And it’s the first intercity train trip for my little one, who is just as excited for _that_ experience as you might expect in an almost-4-year-old.

Already rolling on the #AmtrakBorealis train home from #NICAR25. Overslept by exactly an hour (hm, how'd that happen?), which meant I had no time (or less!) to do one last round of goodbyes.

This conference always manages to be a bright spot in dark times. So grateful to have spaces like that.

Amtrak launches the Borealis, a second daily train between St. Paul and Chicago A one-way ticket to Red Wing runs as low as $7 — but no bicycles allowed (yet).
