In all my travels in the US, there are only two real disappointments. (1) The Statue of Liberty is not as big as she seems. There is no way she crosses the river in Ghostbusters 2. (2) Goobers are just chocolate covered peanuts. With a name like ‘Goobers’ I was expecting more.

Spent the morning in Monterey whale watching. It did not disappoint. Such beautiful, intelligent, creatures. And then came the back of Sea Lions.
A truly wonderful start to the day. Would recommend. Beats coffee!
